LASER OPERATOR

JOB PURPOSE:

Set-up and operation of lasers to ensure product quality meets customer specifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Staging/Loading material for current and upcoming jobs for Fiber and laser as directed by Supervisor, Laser Coordinator, and/or Master Scheduler

- Operator Performed Maintenance

- Cleaning maintenance to perform in laser area (Grating, empty scrap boxes, and etc.)

- Sort parts when needed

- Cut Quality checking per SOP

- Hole checking per SOP

- Operating a Fork Lift

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have a minimum of 6 months prior Laser and CNC experience

- Must have computer experience

- Good mathematic skills

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a continuous basis
