Laser Operator

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team at Central Tube and Bar, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce precision parts from various materials. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for set-ups and inspection of parts produced.

- Produce quality workmanship; parts must be made to print and process specifications.

- Responsible for operator preventive maintenance.

- Proficient computer skills in MS Office and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Requirements

- Advanced math skills preferred.

- Must present a professional appearance with the ability to interact and communicate well with customers and suppliers.

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.

- Must be able to perform certain handheld functions correctly to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Must be able to perform light maintenance and keep machine and area clean.

- Must attend all required training and shop meetings.

- Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines, while maintaining a flexible can-do attitude.
