š§ What Youāll Do
•Optimize performance of GLEās pulsed COā laser systems and associated subsystems.
•Design and implement enhancements to improve laser system efficiency.
•Characterize optical performance and apply analytical models to guide improvements.
•Lead projects to integrate novel optical technologies into GLE's systems.
•Collaborate with Process Physics, Operations, and Mechanical Engineering to align with broader program goals.
•Support laser operations and develop creative manufacturing approaches.
š What Youāll Bring
•Bachelorās degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in a scientific or engineering role.
•1+ year of hands-on experience with plasma physics and pulsed COā lasers.
•Proven experience with laser construction and repair.
•Ability to obtain and maintain an active NRC Q-Clearance and nuclear site access.
