Job Title: Landscape Construction Operations Manager
Location: Riverside, Mo
Position Summary:
The Landscape Construction Operation Manager will play a vital role in leading and managing construction operations, driving the success of large-scale residential and commercial projects as well as maintenance property enhancements. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen to ensure that all construction projects meet our high standards of quality, stay within budget, and are delivered on schedule. The manager will work closely with the design team, project managers, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervisor Management: Oversee the project managers who will be in charge of all landscape construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
•Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of project managers, foremen, and crew members. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment focused on achieving company goals.
•Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operations budgets, including job costing, forecasting, and resource allocation, to maximize profitability.
•Client Communication: Act as a supporting point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
•Quality Control: Implement and uphold quality control processes, inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
•Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall division performance.
•Strategic Planning: Work with senior leadership to set annual division goals and contribute to the company’s long-term vision.
•Safety Management: Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety regulations.
Qualifications:
•Experience: Minimum 10 years in landscape construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large construction projects.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
•Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in project management software (LMN, Procore, or similar).
•Knowledge: In-depth understanding of landscape construction techniques, plant materials, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and industry best practices.
•Certifications: Landscape Industry Certified (LIC), Certified Landscape Professional (CLP), or similar credentials are a plus.
