Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and health of various landscapes, ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-kept and inviting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices.

Duties

•

Perform mowing and trimming of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.

•

Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.

•

Engage in regular landscape maintenance activities, including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.

•

Execute grounds-keeping tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.

•

Carry out tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.

•

Dig and prepare garden beds for planting as needed.

•

Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and minor repairs.

•

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

•

Proficiency in mowing techniques and landscape maintenance practices.

•

Experience with power tools commonly used in landscaping, such as trimmers, blowers, and saws.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining landscaping equipment.

•

Ability to perform tree trimming safely while adhering to best practices.

•

Physical stamina to dig, lift, and carry materials as required by the job.

•

Attention to detail in maintaining gardens and landscaped areas for optimal appearance.

•

A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to grounds-keeping.
