Irrigation and Landscape Technician

As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of irrigation systems to support healthy landscapes.

Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscapes.

- Perform regular inspections to identify and troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems.

- Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate irrigation schedules with planting and maintenance activities.

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to excavate trenches, lay pipes, and adjust sprinkler heads.

- Conduct preventive maintenance on irrigation equipment to prolong its lifespan.

- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, garden upkeep, and landscape enhancements.

- Apply mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain irrigation components effectively.

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of Prior experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance is preferred.

- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment related to irrigation systems.

- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including watering requirements for different plant types.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical stamina to perform manual labor.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and resolving irrigation issues.

- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with team members.
