Landscape Technician

Stevenson Tree Care is hiring for a Landscape Technicianposition. This role requires a balance of physical exertion, mechanical aptitude, situational awareness, and common sense. Starting Pay: $18-25 per hour (depending on qualifications) Full time: 40-45 hours/week

Requirements

● High school diploma or GED

● 1 year relevant experience or related 2-4 year degree

● Valid driver’s license

Job Duties & Responsibilities

● Perform planting, mulching, shrub & tree pruning + trimming, landscape cleanouts

● Manage and prepare vehicles, equipment, and landscaping material for client routes.

● Properly plant and care for trees and shrubs

● Drive truck and trailer to and from job sites

● Properly use and maintain chainsaws, equipment, and heavy machinery

● Maintain detailed paperwork of completed projects.

● Provide support for tree crew by clearing limbs and debris

● Drag brush, lift wood, rake and cleanup job site

● Maintain arborist supplies and company equipment

● Maintain open and friendly communication

● Have knowledge of and ability to identify plants & trees, or a willingness to learn

● Safely and courteously operate company vehicles and equipment.

● Care for every customer’s property as if it were your own

Work Environment

● Able to work in varying weather conditions

● Able to regularly lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs

● Able to manage stress in high-intensity situations

● Team oriented, coachable, and willing to learn new skills
