Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the skills necessary to maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and groundskeeping, ensuring that our clients' properties are beautiful and well-kept.
Responsibilities
•Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
•Must wear all required safety protective equipment such as hearing, and eye protection and steel toe safety shoes/boots.
•Utilize hand tools and equipment for installing hardscape.
•Required to wear a provided uniform and keep a clean as possible and neat appearance while on the clock.
•Participate in snow removal activities during winter months to maintain safe access to properties. This task will require early morning work often being called in before normal business hours in the dark.
•Work with teammates to install heavy stone and hardscape requiring vigorous and precise digging and placement of hardscapes.
•Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
•Follow all safety protocols while handling tools.
Qualifications
•Mechanical knowledge is preferred for operating landscaping equipment effectively.
•Experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is required.
•Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and principles is beneficial.
•Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently is essential.
•Willingness to engage in physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
•Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
•A team player who can work collaboratively with others while also being self-motivated.
