The Landscape Foreman's responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor living spaces, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and completing various administrative duties.

Responsibilities of a Landscape Foreman:

•

Delegating tasks and overseeing the proper use of tools and equipment

•

Recruiting & training new crew members

•

Assessing progress and making recommendations

•

Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times

•

Completing and overseeing landscape/hardscape design and construction

•

Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections

•

Providing cost, material, equipment & time estimates

•

Perform general landscaping duties such as tree/bush trimming, laying pavers, building retaining walls, spreading mulch/stone, spreading grass seed, etc.

•

Conduct minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in landscaping

•

Be willing to train and enhance knowledge in assigned duties

Qualifications of a Landscape Foreman:

•

Must have experience laying pavers and building retaining walls

•

Must demonstrate and have a knowledge of proper hardscape installation

•

Ability to safely operate machinery

•

Ability to follow and provide clear written and verbal instructions

•

Experience in a leadership role

•

Valid Drivers License required, CDL preferred

•

Excellent organizational skills

•

Ability to lift 50 pounds

•

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

•

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

•

Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
