The Landscape crew is responsible for assisting in completing regularly scheduled landscape maintenance service within an established route daily to quality standards. They will work closely with crew leads to meet and exceed customer site expectations. Employees will be expected to perform all aspects of landscape maintenance and other services such as planting, leaf removal, hardscape, and winter services. An eye for detail is necessary. They must be reliable, responsible, and have a strong work ethic.
Job Duties:
•Plant/tree maintenance to include pruning and trimming
•Mowing, Edging, Trimming turf areas
•Raking, manual, and mechanical weed control
•Clearing of landscape and other debris from landscape beds using tools and gas powered blower
•Knowledge of fertilizers and some herbicides
•Apply pesticides and fertilizers as determined by management.
•Complete irrigation system turns on/offs
•Act as backup for Driving DOT regulated truck and trailer
•Other Tasks as requested by management.

Differential Pay:
•Pesticide $1.00 per hour additional while completing pesiticide application with a pesticide license.
•Irrigation $1.00 per hour additional while completing irrigation repair work orders

•Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience in the groundskeeping/ landscape industries or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
•Driving – Must have a clean driving record and a current and valid Washington State Driver’s License, ability to obtain and retain a DOT Medical Card,
•Equipment - Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as all commercial landscape equipment.
•Language - The ability to read and interpret documents and use a handheld smartphone data device that provides information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Dependability - Arrives to work consistently and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meetings and appointments on time, completes tasks on time or notifies a supervisor with an alternate plan.
