The Land Rights Specialist will train/direct employees engaged in and perform
title research, acquisition of land/land rights, appraisal of property using
comparable sales data, negotiation of land purchases/easements, handling
resolution of property claims. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Review work to ensure an
adequate quantity/quality or work is achieved and the meeting of determined
schedules and objectives; provide information and instructions to employees.
Must have avalid driver'slicense from state of residence.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Including courses
in Business Law, ReaI Estate; plus 2 years' experience as a Right-of-Way Agent.
8 - 10 years' experience and courses as mentioned above. Must have an
occupationally significant combination of ability to appraise real estate using
comparable sales data: ability to read/interpret engineering drawings/survey
notes; ability to work with a diverse population; demonstrated ability to interpret
contract/property laws and legal terminology; oral/written communication skills.
Physical Demands: Works inside and outside under good conditions.
