The Land Administrator assists in creating, preparing, finalizing, auditing, updating, and maintaining all land documentation, land project maps, all project-approved agreements and contracts, and other documents relating to land ownership and obligations.

- Responsible for overall organization and maintenance of all internal and external land records
- Accurately updates various internal documents including (but not limited to): project overview maps, individual plat maps, survey exhibits, line lists, various spreadsheets, weekly project reports, and other standard documents as required
- Prepares easements and related documents in an accurate and timely manner
- Creates and maintains project tracking database programs for individual projects
- Reviews and enters data into applicable database
- Reviews and organize company files for accuracy and completeness
- Prepares other agreements and documents for the acquisition of any and all land rights; including but not limited to mineral rights, surface rights, etc.
- Ensures clients are responded to in a professional manner and within established turnaround times
- Generate check requests for payment to landowners in an accurate and timely manner, and reports check information to appropriate internal personnel
- Creates various types of correspondence to landowners on behalf of the company and/or clients
- Provides support to Project Management department and other internal Company Departments as requested
- Completes landowner record searches and any additional research as required
- File documents of record when applicable or required
- Responsible for following TGS Standards with project close-outs and quality of final deliverables
- Actively searches for continuous improvement opportunities to improve process flow and expediency without the loss of accuracy and brings recommendations to manager

This position will be located in our Midland office with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves extended sitting at a desk, computer usage, and communication with colleagues and clients.
This is a largely sedentary role with the occasional tasks involving light lifting or standing during meetings and communication.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with some overtime, including nights and weekends, as necessary to meet reporting deadlines and business needs.
Occasional travel may be required. This travel is typically infrequent and may be limited to local or regional locations, including company field offices.
