Kitting Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitting Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you are passionate about making a difference and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and job routers to identify required components.

- Accurately collect and kit parts according to job specifications and production schedules.

- Verify part numbers, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy and traceability inside of Plex.

- Analyze any discrepancies found in inventory and make appropriate adjustments

- Label, bag, and package kits for delivery to appropriate departments or workstations.

- Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure inventory integrity.

- Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues to purchasing manager.

- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counting, and stock replenishment as needed.

- Operate material handling equipment as needed

- Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production deadlines.

- Work in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

- Prior experience using an ERP system (Preferably Plex)

- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or inventory environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Willingness to learn

- Ability to drive Tow Motor

- Good administrative skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
