Kids Club Attendant

Do you love to play and interact with children? Are you comfortable changing diapers, reading stories, and making a child’s day? Then this is the position for you. We are seeking candidates for the Kids Club Team Member. You are the first and last impression of our business. This position provides care and support to children in our Kids Club center.

Qualified applicants will have previous childcare experience (preferred), able to communicate effectively to parents, able to become CPR certified, pass a TB (tuberculosis) test, and pass a background check. This position includes a free childcare, gym membership, discounted trainings, ability to bring kids to work with you and other perks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Greet, acknowledge and interact with members and children in a friendly manner

- Articulate knowledge of Kids Club programs and services, policies and procedures

- Oversee parent check-in and check-out for each child

- Ensure necessary paperwork is completed (liability waivers) along with parent contact information

- Oversee client children and insure a safe environment. This may include, but not limited to diaper changing, reading books, interactive involvement and more.

- Organize and store toys and materials

- Sanitize toys, play equipment and complete the daily cleaning checklist.

- Answer phones and schedule appointments

- On time and present for each shift

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Have an innate passion for working with children

- Pass a background checks required by state specific child care licensing laws

- Have or obtain all necessary vaccinations and certifications

- Excellent communication skills with children and parents required

Schedule:

- Shifts are either 9am-1pm or 4pm-7pm

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Continual standing and walking during shift

- Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift

- Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift

- Must be able to occasionally lift over 45 pounds

- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals, such as cleaning supplies
