Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead and grow strategic relationships with our industrial client base. As a KAM, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, responsible for identifying opportunities, delivering tailored energy solutions, and ensuring long-term client success.
This role demands strong business development acumen, technical knowledge of industrial energy systems, and the ability to manage complex relationships and contracts across multiple stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Account Management
•Build, manage, and grow trusted relationships with key industrial clients.
•Develop account strategies aligned with client needs and Enerva’s service offerings.
•Serve as the main liaison between the client and internal teams (engineering, sales, and technical services).
2. Client Acquisition & Expansion
•Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new industrial clients through targeted outreach.
•Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client challenges and sustainability goals.
3. Solution Design & Delivery
•Conduct in-depth needs assessments of client facilities and operations.
•Collaborate with internal engineers and analysts to develop customized energy management plans.
•Ensure seamless execution of solutions, from planning to implementation.
4. Contract & Negotiation Management
•Lead commercial negotiations and oversee the development of client contracts.
•Ensure that agreements align with both client objectives and Enerva’s strategic goals.
5. CRM & Sales Operations
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
•Track pipeline progress, forecast sales performance, and report on account metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
•Experience: 10+ years in B2B business development or sales roles, with at least 5 years focused on industrial clients. Experience in energy efficiency, decarbonization, or industrial engineering is strongly preferred.
•Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial energy systems, energy management strategies, and decarbonization technologies.
•Client Management: Proven success managing complex, high-value accounts and delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
•Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
•Tools: Proficiency in Salesforce or other leading CRM tools.
•Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives that drive measurable results.
