This is a full-time onsite position located at our 77020 facility.
Position Summary
The WPD Junior Project Management is responsible for supporting the sales team in variety of ways including sales accounting functions, logistics management and support, sales quotes, and lead management. The role is critical to the success and profitability of the Distro Rental Division.
Essential Duties
Logistics & Inventory Management
•Provide support as required to ensure all orders are filled and all customer requirements are met, which may include assisting with or organizing freight and the processing of freight related documentation.
•Coordination and communication with freight vendors, sales team, logistics team, and shop on incoming and outgoing sales inventory.
•Communicate with sales customers on freight, and ensure all customers receive emails with photos of their units on the truck and leaving our yard.
Accounting
•As required, provide direction to support preparation of outgoing customer invoices to ensure rental and sale invoicing is accurate and timely.
•WPDJPM to issue PO’s for the salesperson from QuickBooks to any and all Vendors.
•Communicate with Sales to Issue invoices to customers from QuickBooks.
•Manage collections for Outside salesperson.
•Assist with updates on AR Report.
Sales and Project Management
•Assist salesperson with logging and updating leads and opportunities.
•Ensure information in opportunities is accurate and matches project financials.
•Assist sales team with all the details and numbers for Sales alerts.
•Ensure all customer information is accurate in SF – website, industry type, contacts, title, address, etc.
•Prepare quotes for rental team.
•Review open opportunities for rental team members as necessary and ensure all contacts in open opportunities have been followed up with and not awaiting any additional information.
•Manage every project for the WPD rental team.
•Follow up with customers on quotes.
•Customer prospecting for the outside sales team.
•Marketing to potential customers on product, inventory, through Email, Phone, & Social Media Channels
•Attend trade shows as necessary.
Safety
•Report all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to Management.
•Wear proper PPE when necessary.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university
•Possess a valid Texas driver’s license
•One to three years in sales administrative support (or related) role
•Experience in power generation is a plus
•Must be familiar with Salesforce.com and QuickBooks
