Job Summary

Provides project management for enterprise-wide, cross functional, gas initiatives and programs.

Essential Functions

•

Manages the initiative through the project lifecycle, including gathering requirements, developing a budget, planning, scheduling, monitoring and overseeing execution through completion, value delivery, benefit realization and long-term sustainability review.

•

Manages multiple projects and optimizes bandwidth to maximize value to Gas stakeholders. This will include innovation and continuous improvement efforts, including launching new products and services, application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process improvements and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

•

Manages scope of projects to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters. Proposes recommendations and adjustments when required.

•

Develops effective communication plan to meet objectives and ensure stakeholder awareness at all appropriate gates and critical decision points, in addition to regular updates.

•

Develops periodic project status and progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations, and visual management tools.

•

Coordinates the use of internal and external resources to accomplish successful project completion.

•

Coordinates and conducts regular scheduled meetings with internal resources, consultants and contractors/vendors.

•

Ensures integrity of supporting project data and records.

•

Ensures work is following internal policies and procedures.

Education Description

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or IT.

Experience

•

Requires a minimum of three (3) years’ experience of project management in enterprise-wide complex projects.

•

Requires one (1) year of experience working with agile teams.

•

Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

•

Scrum Master certification preferred.

•

Experience in the Utility Industry preferred.
