The Treasury Investment group is responsible for the management of NYPA’s funds according to investment guidelines set by the Board. This role helps manage financial risks including market risks, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk, performance evaluation, and presentation of investment results.
The Investment Analyst will assist the Treasury Investment team in the administration of the Authority’s Other Post-Employment Benefits Trust and Internal Treasury Portfolio, as well as execute related transactions and payments, and prepare reporting.
The Analyst will work across internal departments and with external consultants, fund managers and dealers. They prepare, collect, and interpret financial and accounting information; conduct financial analyses of proposals, investments and fund sources; and use treasury management software and custodian systems.
The Investment Analyst should have intermediate to advanced Excel skills and financial analysis experience, with investment analysis experience highly preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate interest in expanding their skills and knowledge, and motivation for learning and growth within a dynamic space supported by training and broad exposure to investment analysis.

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
