Job Duties
•Under general supervision, performs credit and related functions in order to manage customer credit risk of Halliburton’s North America customer base
•Responsibilities include but not limited to:
+ (1) credit management, including annual, periodic, and ad hoc credit reviews of assigned countries/regions
+ (2) assisting in onboarding new customers via Halliburton’s credit application and approval process
+ (3) decisions concerning customer credit risk, review and assessment of exposures to North American customers
+ (4) negotiating and arrange issuance of letters of credit, bank guarantees, and escrow agreements
+ (5) managing month end close process, working with Order to Cash and Collections teams to release credit blocked sales orders
+ (6) produce various routine and ad hoc reports regarding account receivables, days sales outstanding, and credit risk exposure
+ (7) document credit transactions and assist in responding to accounting issues that arise. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
•Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Business or Finance and 3 years of experience
