Our projects blend modern warmth with vintage charm and serve real families through intentional design. We’re seeking a Junior Designer with 1-3 years of experience in residential interiors to support our team from early concepts to install day.
Key Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with Lead Designer to develop concepts, floor plans, and presentation templates.
•Source and specify furniture, finishes, materials, and lighting in alignment with project vision.
•Draft plans, elevations, and layouts using AutoCAD or comparable software.
•Maintain and organize sample libraries for efficient project reference.
•Create and present design presentations to clients.
•Manage and update FF&E schedules, pricing, and procurement documentation.
•Conduct site visits to verify measurements and monitor progress.
•Assist the Lead Designer at installations and provide hands-on project support as needed.
•Take detailed notes in client and vendor meetings to ensure accurate follow-through.
•Contribute to the intentional, functional designs that reflect client needs and the OHYH aesthetic.
•Maintain design trends, new materials, and industry practices to bring fresh insight to the team.
•Demonstrate a sense of ownership and active partnership throughout each project.
•Detailed oriented with the ability to manage purchasing spreadsheet, operate in Microsoft Excel and maintain budgets for large projects.
Qualifications:
•Candidate must live near or be willing to relocate to the Keller, TX area (not a virtual position)
•Associate's or Bachelor degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
•1-3 years in residential interior design
•Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Suite
•Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and high-end trade vendors.
•Detail-oriented, organized, and a confident communicator
•Problem solver and ability to develop innovative solutions for clients' needs
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and exhibit a strong sense of professional maturity
•Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
•Collaborative, humble, and eager to grow
