AODK is an award-winning architecture firm in Cleveland, OH. The studio is seeking a highly energetic, self-motivated, and detailed-oriented Interior Designer/Interior Architect to join our team. We are a progressive design firm with exciting projects that include corporate, commercial, educational, restaurant, hospitality, residential and religious. We are looking for a talented designer with a focus on contemporary design.

Qualifications:

•

Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architectural Design from an accredited program

•

Knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials

•

Graphic presentation skills

•

Flexibility to focus on multiple projects and project types in various stages of development

•

Ability to efficiently communicate design ideas and direction

•

Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills

•

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and SketchUp preferred

Responsibilities:

•

Collaborate on projects including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development

•

Participate in selection of finishes, furniture, art, and specifications

•

Provide project team coordination for the finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction

•

Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples

•

Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination

•

Implement all AutoCAD, Revit and rendering software standards

•

Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

•

Manage Resource Library and manufacturer updates and appointments

This is a full-time, in-office position.

Salary is commensurate based on experience.
