Assistant Interior Designer

We are an experienced and growing general contracting firm focused on high-end remodels, additions and custom homes throughout the Bay Area. Established in 2008, we are a family-run Design+Build contractor in Morgan Hill. Our office features a showroom that showcases our expertise allowing us to host clients & design partners alike.

We are seeking an assistant interior designer with 3-year minimum experience and/or education. It is imperative that this role speak to the culture of our company and the value of our services: Integrity, reliability, quality and commitment to artisanship.

As part of our design team, this role will assist our lead interior designer and support staff with selection materials management. Including but not limited to sourcing and purchasing materials, tracking and logging material choices as well as delivery and commitment to vendor relationships. As an integral part of the pre-construction phase this position requires some background with building and knowledge of finish materials (plumbing, tile & stone, etc.)

What you bring to the table:

-1-year minimum experience in the design field and/or education equivalent

-Detail oriented, highly motivated and positive

-Excellent organization skills and proactive problem solving.

-Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills

-Experience working with vendors, showrooms, manufactures, custom workrooms and artisans

-A passion for interior design
