As a designer, you’ll participate in engineering projects, technology selection and the execution of projects in the mining, hydropower and heavy industry sectors. Working at our Québec City office, you’ll play a key role in all phases of engineering projects and produce high-quality technical deliverables.

- Design systems and equipment in 3D
- Work with point clouds (3D scanning)
- Select equipment for mining, industrial and hydropower applications
- Create layout drawings of mechanical equipment and systems
- Perform onsite technical information surveys
- Perform detailed calculations
- Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks
- Prepare plans and specifications based on guidelines

- Up to five years of experience
- Experience with 3D design
- Available to travel occasionally between the Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Montréal offices
- Available for short assignments at client sites
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
- Asset: fluency in spoken and written English
- Asset: knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, Ansys and AutoCAD applications
- Asset: knowledge of piping, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies and structural design
