About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Engineering, the Senior Piping Designer will be responsible for piping design in support of SeaRose FPSO and WWR Platform Operations. This role will make minor piping modifications, like for like spool replacements and manage the Temporary Repair process across both assets. The Senior Piping Designer will also support the design, procurement, fabrication and offshore implementation of internal piping scopes.

What you’ll do:

- Design piping like for like piping replacements to replace corroded or impaired piping systems offshore

- Arrange surveys, develop drawings, procurement, fabrication oversight and support to offshore execution

- Design minor piping modifications per approved Management of Change process including 3D modelling/design (CadWorx) of piping systems based on offshore surveys, developing piping Isometrics (constructs and destructs), designing pipe supports & general arrangement drawings, equipment plans, section and detail drawings, structural drawings, bulk req.'s (MTO's) and related documentation.

- Manage the Temporary Repairs to Pressure Retaining Components Process across both SeaRose FPSO and WWR facilities

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

- Legally authorized to work in Canada

- Technology Diploma in Marine Engineering Systems Design or equivalent

- Minimum 8 years experience in a piping designer role within the oil and gas industry

- Piping design experience related to offshore FPSOs, Fixed Drilling Platforms, and offshore installations

- Working knowledge of ASME and API codes and standards

- Experience in Business Management Software (SAP) and 3D Modeling software (CadWorx)
