About Us:
Firefly Solar is a leading provider of residential and commercial solar solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team and specialize in service calls, troubleshooting electrical issues, and working with solar energy systems.
What You’ll Do:
•
Conduct service calls to diagnose and repair electrical issues related to solar PV systems.
•
Troubleshoot electrical problems, including wiring, inverters, and other solar components.
•
Ensure all electrical work is code-compliant and meets safety standards.
•
Work with customers to explain system issues and provide solutions.
•
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
•
Collaborate with project managers, installers, and support teams to ensure seamless service.
•
Complete and document work orders, reports, and service records.
What We’re Looking For:
•
Journeyman Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred if applicable).
•
Experience in residential or commercial electrical work; solar experience is a plus.
•
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
•
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
