Journeyman or Apprentice Lineman

Central Electric Power Cooperative is currently accepting applications for the position of Journeyman or Apprentice Lineman. Individuals interested in this position should have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Industrial Electricity, Electrical Distribution Systems or Electronics with experience in power systems or electrical operations. Individuals must be able to work at heights. This position will require work in inclement weather conditions. This position will require the individual to conduct a full range of transmission line and substation construction and maintenance. Individual will be required to reside within 30 minutes of reporting location in order to respond to outage calls. Must be able to obtain and maintain a class A commercial driver's license. Individual must be able to pass a DOT drug and alcohol test.
