PURPOSE:The purpose of the Lineman is to construct and maintain all areas of electric distribution in compliance with code, to follow safety guidelines and to promote good public relations to DES customers.

High School Diploma/ GED

Journeyman Lineman Certification

EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

1. Must possess at the time of employment a valid Class A Commercial Driver License and a safe driving

record. Maintaining the Class A CDL or equivalent license is a continuing condition of employment.

2. Must maintain at the time of employment or obtain at a time designated by DES, a valid certification

of proficiency in adult CPR, first aid, and AED.
