Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including both high and low voltage systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, performing installations, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyperson Electrician will work on various construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.

•

Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical equipment using tools such as voltmeters.

•

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes and the NEC.

•

Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.

•

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards.

•

Provide guidance and support to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in the electrical field.

•

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.

•

Familiarity with frame carpentry and maintenance person skills is a plus.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

•

Proficient in using various hand tools and testing equipment, including voltmeters.

•

Understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work on construction sites.

•

Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.

Pay: $33.23 - $35.17 per hour
