We have been servicing Northern Michigan for over 20 years. We're seeking a skilled, driven, and safety-focused journeyman electrician. Job Responsibilities:
•Residential electrical installations: new builds, custom homes and renovations.
•Panel upgrades, service changes, subpanels and meter bases.
•Rough-in and finishing work - neat, code compliant and built to last.
•Installing lighting, receptacles, EV chargers, backup systems and more.
•Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
•Documenting repairs and modifications.
•Managing and mentoring apprentice electricians.
•Interacting with architects, general contractors, and clients.
•Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
•Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers.
•Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.
Qualifications/Skills:
•Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
•Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
•Knowledge of the National Electric Code and State and Local Building Codes.
•Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
•Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
•Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
•Up-to-date electrician’s license and willingness to join The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
•Electrical Contractor, master electrician or journeyman electrician certification. Or Department of Labor Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) apprentice registration.
•2-3 years residential, commercial or industrial electrical experience.
•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid driver’s license with a historically clean motor vehicle record.
•Reliable work eithic, attention to detail, and solid communication skills.

Pay: $32.25 - $43.60 per hour
