Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Mountain Pro Electric is a small locally owned and operated company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in working with high voltage equipment. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

This is a non commission based position with a company vehicle provided for working hours.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to NEC standards.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

•

Work with high voltage systems and ensure safe operation.

•

Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other equipment effectively to complete tasks.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions efficiently.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

•

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

•

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.

Requirements

•

A minimum of 5 years holding a valid Journeyman Electrician license.

•

Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and compliance standards.

•

Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.

•

Experience working with high voltage systems is preferred.

•

Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters.

•

Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications related to electrical work.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

•

Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.

•

Must have a valid Colorado Driver's license.

•

Must be drug free.

Physical Requirements

•

Must be able to see color to discern color coded wiring.

•

Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

•

Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.

•

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
