Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas.

•

Conduct thorough floor care, including buffing and stripping as needed to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.

•

Handle custodial responsibilities in both commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable.

•

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, contributing to the overall upkeep of the building.

•

Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote a clean environment.

•

Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, demonstrating flexibility in managing priorities.

•

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs or issues to management.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred but not required.

•

Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

•

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

•

Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols is essential.

•

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
