Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness across commercial, industrial, and residential spaces.

Responsibilities

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.

•

Autoscrub floors to maintain their appearance.

•

Clean stainless steel

•

Dust exhibits

•

Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

•

Carry out industrial cleaning duties as required in specific facilities.

•

Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas by picking up litter and performing porter duties.

•

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.

•

Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

•

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

•

Adhere to safety protocols while performing all cleaning duties.

Requirements

•

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.

•

Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus.

•

Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.

•

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

•

Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards.

•

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial.

•

Willingness to learn new skills related to residential painting or other maintenance tasks is appreciated.
