Janitor - Fort Hood - Part Time Position

This position requires that you are physically able to move washers and dryers with a Dolly Machine, these machines can weigh several hundred pounds.

This job opening is for a Part-Time janitor.

We are looking for a motivated janitor to work alongside trained appliance technicians at Fort Hood. Applicant will perform duties full-time Monday through Friday.

General Responsibilities: The janitor cleans and keeps in an orderly condition laundry rooms on military installations. Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, appliances, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services.

Physical Requirements: In an 8-hour day, must be able to continually bend, squat, kneel, lift, twist, climb, reach, stand and walk; to use hands for repetitive pushing, pulling, and single grasp motion; and to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds, and to move objects in excess of 100 pounds, and travel by personal or company automobile to work location or to other destinations as required.
