SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Under supervision, performs duties in the construction and maintenance of electrical metering equipment, system analysis and monitoring, and the construction and maintenance of all substation and measurement devices throughout the system. Make repair to facilities from disasters or other incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in Electric; plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Must maintain insurability under the FPB liability insurance coverage. Preferred requirement to obtain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) within 12 to 24 months of employment.

Adhere to electric department travel policy of living within 30 minutes of Duncan Rd Office
