Summary: The IT Systems Analyst I serves as the subject matter expert for assigned IT systems that are crucial to JS West’s operations. This role is responsible for implementing new features, performing upgrades, identifying and recommending improvements, and providing tier-2 support to assigned systems.
1. Maintain Subject Matter Expert (SME) level understanding of responsible systems.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated support requests within the parameters of the Service-Level Agreement (SLA).
3. Identify and recommend opportunities for new features or expansion of systems into new areas of the business.
5. Maintain a spirit of innovation, excellence, and iterative improvement.
1. Produce reports, charts, dashboards, and maps for established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
2. Work closely with Business Analyst(s) and other stakeholders to identify new KPIs that support business objectives.
3. Maintain existing analytical systems, databases, and ETL jobs.
4. Recommend opportunities to expand existing data warehousing efforts to meet evolving analytical needs.
5. Produce ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders utilizing any available tools.
1. Solid background in Information Technology systems and their roles in a corporate environment.
4. Comfortable taking on complex tasks and ensuring their effective completion.
5. Familiarity creating and maintaining SQL queries, procedures, and statements.
7. Experience in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL database management systems.
1. Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Superset, or the like.
2. Ability to maintain, design, and implement data warehousing components such as database design and extract-transform- load (ETL) operations.
3. Basic experience understanding Geographical Information System (GIS) concepts (features, maps, coordinate systems).
3. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field AND one (1) year of experience in systems administration, systems engineering, data analytics, or adjacent fields OR three (3) years of experience in system administration, systems engineering, data analytics, or adjacent fields.
Salary: $68,640 - $85,280 ($33/hr. - $41/hr.)
