The IT Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT Helpdesk, providing leadership and support to the team responsible for end-user support, application support, database management, and phone system maintenance. Additionally, the role involves overseeing configuration management, problem and change management, and contributing to business continuity planning.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for development
Supervise the Helpdesk team to ensure efficient and timely resolution of IT issues
Coordinate the support of enterprise applications, ensuring minimal downtime
Oversee database administration and ensure data integrity, security, and backups
Supervise the configuration, maintenance, and support of the organization's phone systems
Sample of Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong technical knowledge of helpdesk operations, configuration management, problem and change management, database management, application support, and phone systems
