Opportunity Snapshot:
We’re on the lookout for a seasoned digital solutions leader to orchestrate the evolution and upkeep of our internal business software landscape. This position calls for a tech-savvy strategist with 7–10 years of hands-on experience guiding operational platforms (think: financials, projects, HR tools) and a solid grasp of both cloud-based and server-side application environments. Deep experience working with ERP Systems is required. You’ll need to be fluent in app-to-app connectivity, backend data movement, and insights generation.
The right candidate will be both a tech whisperer and a people connector—able to speak fluently between business goals and backend functionality, and skilled in rallying teams toward streamlined, scalable outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
System Stewardship & Planning:
•Act as the lead guardian of enterprise platforms, ensuring tech tools match up with business priorities.
•Craft and lead the roadmap for system longevity—managing refresh cycles, enhancements, sunsetting, and migrations.
Execution & Delivery:
•Direct end-to-end rollouts and revamps of core operational software, particularly around enterprise planning and capital/project controls.
•Align timelines, budgets, and stakeholder needs while steering third-party vendors and internal contributors alike.
Connectivity & Design:
•Manage system linkages via APIs or other connective tech to ensure clean, cohesive data flow.
•Safeguard data accuracy and establish structured, scalable integrations.
Day-to-Day Oversight:
•Oversee the resolution of system hiccups and helpdesk escalations.
•Test, validate, and apply updates or fixes to maintain performance and stability.
Insights & Intelligence:
•Collaborate with internal partners to define reporting objectives.
•Build dynamic dashboards, KPIs, and interactive analytics tailored to decision-makers.
Business Partnership:
•Act as the go-between for tech teams and department leaders—translating goals into functionality, and functionality into results.
•Keep users in the loop on what’s coming next, what’s changing, and how to engage with systems effectively.
Third-Party Engagement:
•Maintain relationships with external software providers; oversee licensing, contracts, and performance tracking.
What You Bring:
•Bachelor’s degree in a tech-aligned or systems-focused discipline.
•7+ years managing internal tech tools, particularly platforms for enterprise planning and operations (you know the ones).
•Well-versed in both off-the-shelf and custom-built environments—bonus if you've navigated construction tech stacks.
•Experienced in cross-platform connectivity, including REST and SOAP interfaces.
•Fluent in project tracking tools and cost controls software.
•A knack for making complex data visual and actionable (BI tools, SQL scripting, the whole shebang).
•Adept at leading without micromanaging, and building bridges between tech and business needs.
•Familiar with frameworks for managing change and structured rollouts.
Extra Credit For:
•Experience in build-heavy or production-focused industries.
•Knowledge of agile approaches and iterative delivery.
•Understanding how to keep systems safe and secure from the inside out.
The Intangibles:
•Clear, concise communicator with a nose for problem-solving.
•Agile in fast-moving terrain.
Logistics & Location:
•Occasional offsite visits or vendor meetups may be needed.
