About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel and metal fabrication, with a strong understanding of construction site safety and practices. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for cutting and coping of structural steel, ensuring that all work meets project specifications and safety standards.

Duties

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.

•

Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions, weights, and angles for accurate installations.

•

Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, cranes, and welding equipment.

•

Fabricate and assemble metal components using machining techniques such as soldering and welding.

•

Rig loads for lifting and ensure safe handling of materials during transportation on the construction site.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in ironworking or a related field is preferred.

•

Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.

•

Proficient in reading schematics and technical documents.

•

Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

•

Experience operating power tools, cranes, and other heavy machinery is a plus.

•

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

•

Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
