Position Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurately tracking, managing, and maintaining inventory levels within an industrial facility. This role ensures that raw materials, components, and finished goods are properly documented, stored, and distributed, supporting efficient production and order fulfillment. The Inventory Clerk works closely with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to maintain accurate records and support continuous inventory flow.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform daily inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
•Receive, label, and store incoming materials and supplies in designated locations.
•Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or ERP software.
•Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies; report and resolve variances.
•Track inventory movement and update system entries for receipts, transfers, and shipments.
•Work with production and purchasing departments to anticipate material needs.
•Prepare inventory reports and documentation for internal audits and compliance checks.
•Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and inventory layout.
•Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to move materials as needed (if certified).
•Comply with safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required; associate.
•1–2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
•Proficient in inventory software, warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP systems.
•Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
•Strong organizational and time management skills.
