About the Role

The Automation Intern plays a vital role in our company’s operations and supports our reputation being built on relationships, technical advisors and be able deliver mission-critical solutions to our customers. This role is suitable for individuals seeking a training role to learn about the electrical distribution industry and strengthen critical thinking skills through practical exposure to real world customer applications . The candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of Industrial Automation and electrical distribution, working closely with our Automation Team and Sales Team. The Automation Intern role offers an opportunity to learn about Industrial Automation Industry, electrical industry, product knowledge, customer relations and the day-to-day operations of an electrical distributor.

What You'll Do:

Technical Scope

- Learn about Industrial Automation Products and Solutions

- Gain understanding of the different industries and solutions that are applicable.

- Stay Current with latest technology and new product introductions.

- Provide and present technical update for Turtle Sales and Customers

- Provide support activities for Automation Specialists.

- Develop technical problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.

Commercial Scope

- Gain Understanding of the different Industries and Solutions as well as market positioning and competitive landscape

- Meet with customers to understand their needs and challenges.

- Assist Turtle Sales and Customers with product selection.

- Track activities and document in Turtle’s CRM(salesforce)

- Perform market and customer research at the direction of the sales team and specialist mentors.
