Your contribution!
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will record transactions for various Innergex entities in an integrated management software package. As the team is divided by sector (cash, receivables, fixed assets, etc.), you will be responsible for executing and ensuring the smooth running of accounting processes related to your assigned duties.
Your day-to-day!
• Perform the accounting cycle for assigned accounting functions within the Financial Shared Services team for all required Innergex entities (Example of a function: Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, etc.);
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting processes for assigned functions;
• Participate in the completion of all tasks required in the ERP module related to the assigned accounting functions, from the opening to the closing of each accounting period;
• Participate in automating and improving the efficiency of functional accounting processes in the ERP system, in collaboration with the IT team;
• Develop and prepare various value-added monthly analyses;
• Prepare annual audit files;
• Prepare files for compensation and tax teams;
• Maintain rigorous internal controls;
• Participate in special mandates.
Your skills, our requirements!
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or college diploma combined with relevant experience;
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a similar position ;
• Experience in accounting for a multi-entity structure ;
• Experience in managing multiple currencies, an asset - Experience in a public company, an asset;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data entry ;
• Excellent skills with software in general (e.g. Oracle Fusion);
• Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.
Additional considerations!
• The position can be based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, a few steps from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
• This position is a P2 level.
