Where You Will Work

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Morenci is a unique company town where our employees and their families can reconnect with nature through hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and numerous parks. What You Will Do

- Conduct employee training, generally of a non-technical nature, topics can include compliance, safety, process training, and leadership training.

- Be involved in initial design and/or enhancements to training curriculum to reflect changing legislative environment, safety events, industry updates, new learnings, or new operational processes.

- Tailor training content to accommodate varying degrees of knowledge among adult learners.

- Provide customer service and interact with various departments across the site.

- Follow established learning and assessment schedules to ensure that scheduled programs are delivered as planned.

- Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up-to-date and recorded in the company learning management system.

- Perform other duties as requested.

What You Bring To Freeport

- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year related experience to include background in adult education or safety standards and practices, OR

- Five (5) years related experience to include background in adult education or safety standards and practices.

- Very proficient in Word and Power Point

- Proven computer literacy (Office and Windows specifically)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Mentoring or Training Preffered

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $27.00-$37.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What We Require

- Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
