The NDT Instructor responsibilities include Continuous Improvement, TSCU training, and NDT training. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining proper documentation. Candidate will also be an instructor pertaining to NDT courses for TSC University.
· ASNT NDT Level III in at least one of the following methods: VT,MT,UT,MFL
· Support audit system. Report on audit results including reviewing, organizing, analyzing and consolidating objective evidence and audit findings by function and organization to follow up on audit findings and corrective actions. May assist with external ISO reregistration and surveillance audits.
· Assist in teaching courses for TSC University.
· Assist in creating and improving course curriculum and criteria
· Assist in promoting and attending functions related to NDT training.
· 4 years-Supervising or overseeing NDT functions related to oil and gas.
· 2 years-auditing NDT inspections or SOP compliance
· Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, ASNT SNT-TC-1A and other relevant quality standards.
· Must be organized and be able to multi-task.
· Must be capable of performing process audits.
· Must have excellent communication and written skills and be able to work well under pressure.
· Must be capable of talking in front of a classroom and exhibit patience with students.
· Over 4 years of full-time experience performing NDT inspections.
· Process measurement and management, facilitation, and team skills all a plus.
· Working knowledge of Visio and Compliance 360 software.
· ASNT NDT Level III Magnetic Flux Leakage
· Much of the work is done in a team environment. Focus and emphasis on improvement.
· Will require frequent classroom instruction on site and periodic travel to offsite locations.
