Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing all install crews, ensuring effective and high-quality installations, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities also include management of the staff and coordination of workflow with other departments.
Colonial Countertops provides company vehicle, fuel and all required tools.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
•Ensure efficient installations (quality and speed of work, professionalism, troubleshooting and problem solving) to provide required average monthly installation outcome at the branch
•Ensure proficiency and consistent development of every member on the installation team (regular training and assessments, meeting standards)
•Ensure that there are no remakes or time loss over the installer’s faults.
•Work closely with production manager to achieve the set goal of minimizing % of remakes overall
•Perform installations/service calls as a Lead Installer when necessary
•Review installation paperwork and make sure all required materials are available on a daily basis
•Review daily installers reports, address and/or resolve reported issues
•Provide personnel management within the Installation team – conduct reviews and evaluations, address issues and concerns, initiate recruitment
•Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed, necessary staff certificates are obtained
•Ensure the vehicle maintenance is up to date
•Verify and approve installers’ timesheets and payroll submissions

•Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
•Experience and knowledge in construction and stone countertop production and installations
•Strong supervisory and communication skills
•Good organizational and effective communication skills
•Ability to multitask, organize and improve processes
•Positive and encouraging personality
•Ability to lift 100 lbs +
•Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
