Calibrate, inspect, repair, build, and verify for accuracy precision dimensional measurement instruments and equipment. These include, but are not limited to micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth gages, height gages, air comparator gages, thread gages, and ID/OD snap gages for precision machining operations. Inspect, calibrate, and verify high accuracy computerized dimensional measurement systems such as laser alignment tools and electrical/electro-mechanical (ERO/EMRO) runout systems. Operate Laser Tracker for inspection operations to support test cell and PSO customers; this includes using 3D modeling software and preparing measurement reports. Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing from engineering prints and source control drawings to provide precision inspection support to internal production and engineering customers; this can include product troubleshooting, and new product introduction. Maintain inventory of calibrated dimensional metrology instruments via Met Team metrology suite. Perform all duties to Metrology & Test Systems Quality Management System, Metrology & Test Systems Work Instructions, Metrology Lab Procedures, applicable ISO/NIST/ASME standards, and Solar EHS policies.

Summary Pay Range:

$22.00 - $37.68
