Inspection Hand

Primary Function

Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Authorized Inspection Hand can recommend solutions and obtain approval before implementation.

Reporting to

This is an hourly position, reporting to the Lead Hand or Inspector

None, Individual Contributor

Responsibilities

· Maintain complete confidentiality of information pertaining to the company and other proprietary information

· Complete tasks/projects within the hours scheduled

· Maintain a clean area. Dispose of all material in the proper manner

· Keeps technical and industry knowledge up to date.

· Follow all company/customer safety requirements

· Build rapport and productive working relationships with all field and office personnel.

· Make recommendations to resolve issues when identified.

Minimum Skills Requirement

· High School Diploma or equivalent

·The Inspection Hand must have basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry to properly use equipment, tools, and instruments

o Hand tools; Hammer, measuring tape, Screwdriver, prybar, grinder

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs

· Proven capability of handling a heavy workload

· Have the ability to climb ladders and maneuver effectively on customer site

· To operate a company vehicle must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for insurability. Employment may be contingent on this requirement.

· Must be able to satisfactorily complete safety programs as required

Environment

· Field, Yard and Shop environment 100%

· Working hours: Must be available 24 hours 7 days a week (Typical work week 40-60 Hours)

o Will require overtime and significant schedule changes to meet commitments

o Out of town travel required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
