The functions of the Inside Sales Associate is to provide direct support to the Sales Managers in the ongoing development of existing and prospective Liberty Lift customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets.
- Maximize internal support to help drive successful sales outcomes and revenue opportunities.
- Prepare and submit concise monthly sales reports summarizing key activities and results.
- Attend weekly internal sales meetings to stay informed on new strategies, tools, and sales techniques.
- Create accurate pricing quotes, sales proposals, and supporting documentation for the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies, discount authorization processes, and deal structure requirements.
- Support the sales team by responding to internal inquiries and assisting with order documentation and coordination.
- Review and verify that all documentation is complete, properly approved, and aligned with current pricing and product configurations.
- Accurately process, record, and maintain logs for all sales quotes and customer orders using internal databases or spreadsheets.
- Perform routine administrative and coordination duties independently, following standard operating procedures.
- Operate with minimal supervision, using sound judgment and understanding of department policies to achieve assigned objectives.
- High School Diploma Required; Some college coursework preferred.
- One to two years related experience and/ or training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret business documents such as contracts, quotes, pricing agreements, and technical specifications. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, or missing information in written documentation.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise routine reports and correspondence, and to speak confidently and professionally before groups or internal team members.
- Strong numerical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; capable of applying basic algebraic and geometric concepts in practical scenarios.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply common-sense understanding to follow detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions, and to resolve issues involving limited variables in standardized situations.
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
