We are growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager to lead our inside sales team and elevate our customer experience.
The Inside Sales & Customer Service Manager oversees our inside sales team and ensures customers receive timely, accurate, and professional support throughout every stage of the order cycle. This role drives order accuracy, workflow consistency, communication excellence, and strong internal collaboration to support both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders, quotes, and inquiries
- Oversee order schedules and coordinate with production, logistics, and operations to ensure on-time, error-free delivery
- Maintain strong documentation and communication workflows
- Develop and implement Standard Work to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Analyze customer trends and purchasing patterns to support strategic decision-making
- Provide accurate pricing, reporting, and quote support to outside sales teams
- Set team goals, KPIs, and service standards
- Monitor daily workflow, resource allocation, and coverage
- Create and distribute regular performance and customer metrics reports
- Ensure consistent communication practices, including proactive updates on orders and product availability
- Maintain accurate CRM data for accounts, opportunities, and leads
- Lead process-improvement initiatives across inside sales and customer service activities
- Supervise, coach, and develop the inside sales team
- Resolve escalated customer issues with urgency and professionalism
- Foster strong internal and external working relationships
- Support outbound communication with warm and existing accounts
- Partner with Sales Director to identify service-driven growth opportunities
- Deliver clear, professional communication that builds long-term customer relationships- 3–5+ years in customer service, inside sales, or sales operations - 1–3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred
