Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•Set up and operate injection molding machines according to specifications.
•Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
•Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and implement lean manufacturing practices.
•Handle materials appropriately, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using forklifts when necessary.
Requirements
•Experience with plastics injection molding is preferred.
•Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling is a plus.
•Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
•Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and hand tools.
•Experience operating production machinery.
•Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
•Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
