Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

•

Set up and operate injection molding machines according to specifications.

•

Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.

•

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

•

Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and implement lean manufacturing practices.

•

Handle materials appropriately, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using forklifts when necessary.

Requirements

•

Experience with plastics injection molding is preferred.

•

Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling is a plus.

•

Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

•

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.

•

Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and hand tools.

•

Experience operating production machinery.

•

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions.

•

Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
