Responsible for the project management of technology projects including software development and acquisition, infrastructure build and maintenance, and software/infrastructure support. Provide strategic leadership and direction on assigned projects, identify risk components and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Lead contributor to Project Office continued process improvements and training non-PM and junior PMs in Project Office processes and best practices.

: There is one position available, and the position will be filled at one of four job grade levels: IT Project Manager I, job grade 8; IT Project Manager II, job grade 9, IT Project Manager III, job grade 10; or Senior IT Project Manager, job grade 11. Hiring Salary Range: $118,000-$151,000

Hiring Salary Range: $106,000-$135,000

Responsibilities
•Ensure projects are executed and documented according to the IT project management methodology.
•Support the development of project contracts or agreements to control risk, ensure compliance and optimize execution.
•Provide documented scope, schedule, deliverables, resource needs, and budget estimates for each project.
•Manage project risks and issues using defined mitigation and resolution measures.
•Assemble and lead project resource teams.
•Drive projects to completion on time and on budget.
•Provide periodic progress reports, including milestones, scope changes, budget analysis, and schedule updates to management and stakeholders.
•Provide business analysis, technical writing, and contribute to testing as needed.
•Monitor cost accounting, invoicing, and close-out of projects.
•Contribute to improved project management practices and provide training to other IT PMs as requested.
•Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.

Qualifications
Education and Training
•BS/BA in Information Technology, Project Management, or related discipline is required.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required. DASM certification at time of hire or certification completed within first year of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
•Expert in project management methodologies.
•Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
•Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, Workfront or other project portfolio management software applications.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external partners.
•Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
•Proficient with M365 and Microsoft Office suite with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience:
•Eight (8) plus years of experience as project manager on increasingly complex projects.
•Experience and knowledge of project management techniques as applied to technology projects.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
•Project management experience with electric utility technology projects.
•Experience in working with infrastructure related projects is desired.
•Direct experience in software development and infrastructure support as a technical resource.
•Oracle E-Business Suite knowledge and experience.
